Transport Training
We offer specific training for individuals who wish to travel with their dog, (where allowed) on public transport. Thanks to good working relations with local transport operatives, our obedience and confidence training takes place using the real environments you and your dog(s) might be faced with. We can introduce your dog (at their own pace) to the delights of bus and train travel, as well as busy crowded places such as airports.
We also offer this kind of training for Trainee/Qualified Assistance dogs – if you are working towards a Public Access test, or an Aviation Assessment – we can provide a stepped training process, to ensure you are both ready for assessment.
We recommend an independent assessment through a recognised organisation such as the Assistance Dogs Assessment Association (ADAA) and are happy to help you with the application process when ready.
Another area of expertise is crate/flight training for those wishing to travel abroad with their pet dogs – either for vacation or emigration. We recognise that this may be a scary experience for your dog and will make sure they cope better with the pressures of the flight, allowing you to relax and enjoy yours!
